Every year, the members of Indus Net family celebrate the date 17th September with great pomp and grandeur. Apart from commemorating the establishment of Indus Net Technologies, the day is celebrated to mark the achievements, to recognize the talents and to celebrate inter-departmental fraternity. This year, having completed its 16th year, the company celebrated the occasion with huge enthusiasm. The grand celebration was held at the Royal Bengal Room of City Centre I, Salt Lake City. Arranged in the style of a cultural program, the celebration included a number of eye-catching events that kept us tied to our seats throughout the day.
The celebration started with the chanting of “Ganesh Mantra” followed by candle lighting and cake cutting. However, with the Dancing Divas of the organization, the 16th Annual Day celebration gained its momentum. Their innovative concept took us to the wooden world of Rajasthan. Then the “Bad Boys” rocked the stage with some popular tracks that stimulated us to make our way to the dance floor. We were brought back to our seats by the much appreciated “Live in Concert”. A grand musical performance by Ho-Jo-Bo-Ro-Lo, a group of talented vocalists, guitarist and percussionist, was another major attraction. In between, an inspiring and insightful speech by our honorable Founder/CEO, Mr. Abhishek Rungta, motivated each of us. The other two events scheduled before the lunch break were a group dance and a drama named “Ekti Abastab Golpo” by the famous Indus Notyo Company. While the dancing duo moved us with their dance beats, the drama moved us with the agony of a poor worker. Well-performed by each of the actors and actresses, the drama was highly heart-touching.
Though tea and coffee along with tasty cookies were served in between, but the sumptuous lunch menu was one of the main attractions of the 16th Annual Day. Keeping in mind that no celebration is complete without good food, the management and the organizing committee chose a list of lip-smacking dishes which included delicious starters, healthy salads, grand main course and mouth-watering desserts. Post lunch, the theme song of Indus Net Technologies was launched by Indus Bluez, the official band of the company. They took us back to the dance floor. After awarding the star performers of Indus Net, the celebration came to an end with the last event of the day - a Tribute to the 100 Years of Indian Cinemas. It was a fashion show where the participants played the role of some eminent actors and actresses.
Celebrated with fun and frolic, the day was worth remembering for every employee. The video “Life @ INT” made the environment more fun-filled. However, a few differences noticed in this year’s celebration were huge employee participation, increase in the number of guests (spouses and children of the employees) and to top these all, the participation certificate and gift given to every participant. The latter is something new in the history of Indus Net’s Annual Day celebrations.
All in all, the 16th Annual Day celebration of Indus Net Technologies turned out to be a grand event.
